The Philippines (
i/ˈfɪlᵻpiːnz/; Filipino: Pilipinas [ˌpɪlɪˈpinɐs]), officially known as the Republic of the Philippines (Filipino: Republika ng Pilipinas), is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia situated in the western Pacific Ocean. It consists of about 7,500 islands that are categorized broadly under three main geographical divisions: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City; both are part of Metro Manila.
To the north of the Philippines across the Luzon Strait lies Taiwan; Vietnam sits west across the South China Sea; southwest lies Malaysia in the island of Borneo across the Sulu Sea, and to the south the Celebes Sea separates it from other islands of Indonesia; while to the east it is bounded by the Philippine Sea and the island-nation of Palau. Its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire and close to the equator makes the Philippines prone to earthquakes and typhoons, but also endows it with abundant natural resources and some of the world's greatest biodiversity. At approximately 300,000 square kilometers (115,831 sq mi), the Philippines is the 72nd-largest country in the world.

Philippines 2000
Philippines 2000 was the socio-economic program of former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos. The plan envisioned the Philippines achieving newly industrialized country status by the year 2000.

The Philippines 2000 platform largely hinged on five major areas:
The Philippines 2000 program formed the core of the Ramos campaign platform in the 1992 elections which largely centered on economic reforms and improved national security and unity.
Effects and legacy
The Philippines 2000 platform was widely successful, making it one of the greatest legacies of the Ramos administration to the Philippines. Ramos was successfully able to open the then-closed Philippine economy and break Marcos-era formed monopolies, especially with regard to Philippine Airlines and the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, which were privatized and de-monopolized during his tenure. He was also able to resolve the power crisis in the Philippines through privatization of power plants and the construction of new ones. The reforms spurred additional investment into the Philippines.

Monday's Oval Office meeting is the latest high-level diplomacy with Pacific leaders by Biden as his administration contends with increased military and economic assertiveness by China and worries about North Korea's nuclear program. Marcos’ official visit to Washington is the first by a Philippine president in more than 10 years.

Oh man! The Philippines! where do i start. This place is now one of my all time favourite places to be, not just because of the incredible waterholes and pure island nature, but also because while we were exploring these beautiful, tropical Islands the locals made us feel so welcome and were incredibly friendly. We had some crazy adventures here starting from Porto Princessa in Palawan then travelling 4 hours by van up to Port Barton, then 4 hours again by van to El Nido where we saw some of the craziest sunsets of our lives and went out on many boat tours meeting loads of other adventurous travellers and sharing our stories together. This place is now one of my all time favourite places to be, not just because of the incredible waterholes and pure island nature, but also because while we were exploring these beautiful, tropical Islands the locals made us feel so welcome and were incredibly friendly. We had some crazy adventures here starting from Porto Princessa in Palawan then travelling 4 hours by van up to Port Barton, then 4 hours again by van to El Nido where we saw some of the craziest sunsets of our lives and went out on many boat tours meeting loads of other adventurous travellers and sharing our stories together. We then travelled to Cebu to experience the beautiful waterfalls and lush tropical forests. Then to Bohol, an awesome little island full of life and vibrant creatures, and the chocolate hills! Then off to Siargao one of my favourite islands of all time where we made some amazing local friends that we had some great adventures with and even today we still talk! The weather throughout our journey was not the best so we had to make do with the good days we did have. unfortunately we never made it to Coron island, but that's one for next time!
I'll always have a special spot in my heart for south east asia, you just can't compare it to anywhere else!

Some Facts about the video and editing!
Altogther this video took almost 3 months of solid editing to create! Orgionaly filmed in december 0f 2018, I was unable to start working on it straight away due to lots of client work and other oppertunities that took my time away from this project. This project was vertually an unplanned edit except for the intro sequence where i pre planned to film a scene of myself diving into the sand on a nice beach to create the portal effect later on with that intro. Everything else was rush planned on the actual trip. This project was edited in Premiere pro and after Effects and has over 91 after effects compositions. It also contains 466 separate sounds. I cant even explain how many times premiere pro or after effects crashed making this video, so much to the point where i'm considering using another platform, not to mention the glitches, but after fixing all this i was very happy with the result!

The weather throughout our journey was not the best so we had to make do with the good days we did have. unfortunately we never made it to Coron island, but that's one for next time!
I'll always have a special spot in my heart for south east asia, you just can't compare it to anywhere else!

Some Facts about the video and editing!
Altogther this video took almost 3 months of solid editing to create! Orgionaly filmed in december 0f 2018, I was unable to start working on it straight away due to lots of client work and other oppertunities that took my time away from this project. This project was vertually an unplanned edit except for the intro sequence where i pre planned to film a scene of myself diving into the sand on a nice beach to create the portal effect later on with that intro. Everything else was rush planned on the actual trip. This project was edited in Premiere pro and after Effects and has over 91 after effects compositions. It also contains 466 separate sounds. I cant even explain how many times premiere pro or after effects crashed making this video, so much to the point where i'm considering using another platform, not to mention the glitches, but after fixing all this i was very happy with the result!

Hi guys - welcome back! So, we skipped from Panglao to Baguio as I dropped my GoPro in Panglao and couldn’t t get any footage. It was a bummer the next tours we're awesome. We also ferried from Panglao to Cebu and did another 3 day Tour to include Bantayan Islands. I did drop some shorts.
As soon as we got to Baguio, I was looking for a camera repair shop but was unable to get my GoPro fix. I was bummed as I also didn't bring DJI OM 5 which I could just could of used my phone. Anyways, I had a bright idea of going to SM and looking for something affordable so I got the DJI Osmo. Here in this video I go the chance to use, play and learn it - not bad as it was on sale at lower price than the updated one.
Well hope you enjoy this walk tour as we walked to Session Road for some shopping then headed to Public Market then footed it back to the Hotel. Let enjoy this Tour in Baguio.

Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday told reporters he was "as concerned as you could possibly be," about China's activities in the South China Sea.
Marcos was responding to a reporters question as he entered Vice President Kamala Harris' residence for brunch, along with U.S. second gentlemen Doug Emhoff and Philippines first lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
On Monday, President Joe Biden reiterated U.S. commitment to the Philippines' security and noted the “deep friendship” of the two nations as he hosted Marcos for White House talks.
Marcos' visit to Washington comes after the U.S. and the Philippines last week completed their largest war drills ever and as the two countries' air forces on Monday will hold their first joint fighter jet training in the Philippines since 1990. The Philippines this year agreed to give the U.S. access to four more bases on the islands as the U.S. looks to deter China’s increasingly aggressive actions toward Taiwan and in the disputed South China Sea.
Meanwhile, China has angered the Philippines by repeatedly harassing its navy and coast guard patrols and chasing away fishermen in waters that are close to Philippine shores but that Beijing claims as its own.
Monday's Oval Office meeting is the latest high-level diplomacy with Pacific leaders by Biden as his administration contends with increased military and economic assertiveness by China and worries about North Korea's nuclear program. Marcos’ official visit to Washington is the first by a Philippine president in more than 10 years.

With less than three months before the 2022 elections, some candidates are trying to prove they know the playbook of Philippine politics like the backs of their hands.
Technique number 1: If something works, then go for it. Even if it means telling your running mate to kindly step aside in the meantime because a certain crowd is crazy about pairing you with someone else.
Technique number 2: Look for the ruling party's weakness and rub salt on the wound by forcing yourself into the picture.
And number 3: Identify a unifying factor such as God and religion to gain the favor of a church with millions of followers eligible to vote.
As we inch closer to May 9, expect our future leaders to lay down more cards, or reveal tricks up their sleeves that will jack up their chances of winning.

The Philippines (i/ˈfɪlᵻpiːnz/; Filipino: Pilipinas [ˌpɪlɪˈpinɐs]), officially known as the Republic of the Philippines (Filipino: Republika ng Pilipinas), is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia situated in the western Pacific Ocean. It consists of about 7,500 islands that are categorized broadly under three main geographical divisions: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City; both are part of Metro Manila.
To the north of the Philippines across the Luzon Strait lies Taiwan; Vietnam sits west across the South China Sea; southwest lies Malaysia in the island of Borneo across the Sulu Sea, and to the south the Celebes Sea separates it from other islands of Indonesia; while to the east it is bounded by the Philippine Sea and the island-nation of Palau. Its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire and close to the equator makes the Philippines prone to earthquakes and typhoons, but also endows it with abundant natural resources and some of the world's greatest biodiversity. At approximately 300,000 square kilometers (115,831 sq mi), the Philippines is the 72nd-largest country in the world.

Philippines tourism appears to be back to normal and these tourist spots are thriving again. I really enjoyed Palawan and many would say that is the best place in the Philippines, with El Nido and Coron being the top places there. I also felt Siargao was a special place to visit for its diversity in activities to do. Boracay seemed to be the most popular tourist destination in Philippines. Oh man! The Philippines! where do i start. This place is now one of my all time favourite places to be, not just because of the incredible waterholes and pure island nature, but also because while we were exploring these beautiful, tropical Islands the locals made us feel so welcome and were incredibly friendly. We had some crazy adventures here starting from Porto Princessa in Palawan then travelling 4 hours by van up to Port Barton, then 4 hours again by van to El Nido where we saw some of the craziest sunsets of our lives and went out on many boat tours meeting loads of other adventurous travellers and sharing our stories together. We then travelled to Cebu to experience the beautiful waterfalls and lush tropical forests. Then to Bohol, an awesome little island full of life and vibrant creatures, and the chocolate hills! Then off to Siargao one of my favourite islands of all time where we made some amazing local friends that we had some great adventures with and even today we still talk! The weather throughout our journey was not the best so we had to make do with the good days we did have. unfortunately we never made it to Coron island, but that's one for next time!
I'll always have a special spot in my heart for south east asia, you just can't compare it to anywhere else!

Some Facts about the video and editing!
Altogther this video took almost 3 months of solid editing to create! Orgionaly filmed in december 0f 2018, I was unable to start working on it straight away due to lots of client work and other oppertunities that took my time away from this project. This project was vertually an unplanned edit except for the intro sequence where i pre planned to film a scene of myself diving into the sand on a nice beach to create the portal effect later on with that intro. Everything else was rush planned on the actual trip. This project was edited in Premiere pro and after Effects and has over 91 after effects compositions. It also contains 466 separate sounds. I cant even explain how many times premiere pro or after effects crashed making this video, so much to the point where i'm considering using another platform, not to mention the glitches, but after fixing all this i was very happy with the result!

Hi guys - welcome back! So, we skipped from Panglao to Baguio as I dropped my GoPro in Panglao and couldn’t t get any footage. It was a bummer the next tours we're awesome. We also ferried from Panglao to Cebu and did another 3 day Tour to include Bantayan Islands. I did drop some shorts.
As soon as we got to Baguio, I was looking for a camera repair shop but was unable to get my GoPro fix. I was bummed as I also didn't bring DJI OM 5 which I could just could of used my phone. Anyways, I had a bright idea of going to SM and looking for something affordable so I got the DJI Osmo. Here in this video I go the chance to use, play and learn it - not bad as it was on sale at lower price than the updated one.
Well hope you enjoy this walk tour as we walked to Session Road for some shopping then headed to Public Market then footed it back to the Hotel. Let enjoy this Tour in Baguio.

Netizens were quick to express their disapproval of the campaign just 2 days after its debut, claiming that it includes stock footage that does not represent actual scenes from the Philippines.
DDB Philippines is the agency responsible for creating the ad campaign.

DDB Group Philippines, the company behind "Love the Philippines" apologizes for using stock footage of Thailand, Indonesia, and Dubai in a video presentation.
The AVP was "intended to be a mood video to excite internal stakeholders about the campaign."
DDB: While the use of stock footage in mood videos is standard practice in the industry, the use of foreign stock footage was an unfortunate oversight on our agency’s part. Proper screening and approval processes should have been strictly followed.
